4FL Studio is a Great Product.  Jan 23, 2011 By Chaney
The poor reviews this product has received are unjustified and made out of lack of knowledge and pure self generated frustration. FL Studio is a easy to use, robust, and professional utility that is great for beginning to advanced users. It can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it. First time users may feel a bit intimidated by the array of menus and displays, but a little training and exploration will have you making music in no time. If you can't make a simple beat in under 30 minutes, let alone 3 hours, then you need some product training. The internet is full of useful tutorials that are free that can help you along the way. Bottom line, if you are interested in music production, FL Studio is a great start. If you want to see some professional examples of what FL Studio can do, look up Radioactive Sandwich. They make great experimental/trace rendered entirely in FL Studio.

1Pay way too much, then pay even more.  Jun 08, 2010 By A. McClure
I downloaded the free demo of this program. I liked it. Some of the options didn't work properly, but hey, it's a demo, right? A lot of the effect channels worked, but would tell me it would be deleted next time I opened it. But hey, It's a demo right? So, I pay the [...] bucks for the full version. Guess what. It's no different than the demo. The same effects that didn't work properly in the demo didn't work on the full program either. When I went to the effects channel, it told me they were a demo and would be deleted next time I opened it. I registered my product and it brought up a list of all the effect options that demo'd in the program. Some of them were more expensive than the program itself. Some of the preset loops and riffs don't work properly in the piano roll. I can't have more than a few channels per song because it starts to distort. Even with the master volume, and channel volumes lowered. Basically, I just paid 200 dollars to be able to save and reopen the "songs" I made. This product is a rip off. I had better luck with my MTV music generator that I paid 20 bucks for ten years ago. Don't buy it.
