4Best current option for DVD-Audio  Dec 28, 2004 By Sardan
Until the big players like Nero and Easy CD Creator update their software, this is the cheapest option for burning DVD-Audio discs. I haven't made true 5.1 surround-sound DVD-Audio discs. I use the software to stuff discs full of songs from CDs. You can squeeze 70-99 songs per disc. Very handy, if you have a player that doesn't read MP3s but does read DVD-A.

5Easy to use DVD-A software  Sep 03, 2011 By Ronald E. Carlson "average guy"
When I was looking for an inexpensive way to convert my old quadraphonic 8-track tapes to surround sound discs I came across Disc Welder from Minnetonka. This has got to be one of the easiest programs to use for this kind of endeavor. There is one window that includes everything you need. Easy selection of audio content and an intuitive interface makes creating DVD-As a snap. As I had over 40 tapes to move into the digital realm I wanted something that was straight forward with a quick learning curve. Disc Welder fit the bill. Minnetonka were great folks to work with also. Due to an error on my part I had messed up the install. Minnetonka was more than helpful in helping me get up and running with great customer service. Besides my own stuff I also did a few tape transfers for a friend who was quite pleased with the results also.

I'm using Disc Welder on a Mac G4 running OS 10.4.11 for reference. I would highly recommend Disc Welder to anyone needing an easy to understand and use solution - at a fair price - for creating DVD-Audio discs.

5DVD-A without selling a kidney  Apr 20, 2005 By R. Walker
Good quality product. you will need multichannel software such as adobe audition to create the 6 separate wav files but if all you need is to burn the 6 channel wave files. this is your product.
